Interior Minister Rehman Malik has requested Speaker National Assembly, Dr Fehmida Mirza, to take notice of those people, who are living illegally in parliamentary lodges. Interior Minister said on a point of order that these people could be a source of security concern for the parliamentarians and their families, as a plumber having connections with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan has already been arrested from the lodges.

Responding to the point of order of MNA Akram Masih Gill about suspension of DPO and DCO on Gojra incident, the Minister said that he was unaware as to how the officials were promoted and reinstated.
